Start charging $2500 tax on all iPhones and all other chinese crap and then Americans would be able to compete with chinese slave labor.

Begin a new 25% walmart tax on all items purchased at walmart.

If the U.S. would crack down and match tariffs, it would help. The U.S. also needs to crack down on import fraud for companies (and countries) using Mexico to avoid tariffs.

we should be manufacturing our own phones right here, locally, in the united states.

another issue is that a lot of jobs that should be local have been relocated to other countries... for example, when i call my prepaid cellular phone company customer service number, the calls are answered in tijuana mexico.. and when i call customer service of my united states based bank, the calls get answered in the phillipines.

there isnt much that i can do about it, but i am personally concerned that there are people from another country looking at my banking records.

the united states is literally fucked if this continues.

IFIFY:
All nations should be manufacturing their own products, of all kinds, all over, locally, in their nations. Decentralize all things.

You can't force Americans to pay more for American made products or use companies that don't outsource customer service. Most people see a $5, $25, or $100 savings and "overlook" that they can help break the cycle. They simply think that they can't make a difference and that it's up to everyone else. I agree that more products should be made in the U.S. It usually means better quality. Better quality is cheaper on the finances in the long run. We live in an age of perishable goods.

i am not in any way suggesting that americans should be made to pay more for american made products.

i am suggesting that we should make them pay a tax to purchase foreign made products, which would prevent foreign companies from undercutting us by using slave labor.

if i was the president, i would straighten this shit out in about two minutes.

if i was the president, you would quickly realize that stalin was gentle.

count my words.
