Those men would not like the labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, woman, &c, and should instead find other men that they would prefer. The labia majora is less likely to trap bacteria. And it's very rarely odd looking.

This is so dumb.

It's only "odd looking" because circumcision is the norm in their culture.

It's no different to Muslim men thinking women look odd or worse without headscarves.

If you think the natural state of the human body looks weird that's actually evidence something odd has been done to you and people around you, not that the body needs changing to fit what feels right.

It seems you've interpreted the opposite of my comment. If you look at the context of the discussion, you'll see that my comment is against female genital mutilation, and that those who support it do not like women or how they look. Regarding the 'odd' comment - perhaps forget about it - as it's part of the context in the discussion about how people sometimes on very rare occasion will view odd looking genitals on people. It's certainly not a comment on the labia in general. Perhaps read my other comment about the extreme differences between female and male circumcision. This is the basis of my main arguments in the thread.

You are misinterpreting.

I was talking about male circumcision not female.

You are just shown the double standard again that you think these arguments can only apply to one and not the other.

Clearly the natural state of the penis is not "odd" and does not need fixing.

Again Jet - the post you respond to is not my comment on the penis. My initial comment further up in the thread is one quote from 54 women on the subject. Then I had to respond to dumb comments about doublt standards. One of my replies is what you're responded to, but I referred to the labia and you are referring to the penis. There is absolutely no double standard because there is absolutely no comparison between the end of the foreskin of a man and th clitoral organs of a woman, nor is there for the circumcision of each of them. They are completely different in a number of significant ways, one of which is the thousands of nerve endings in the clitoral organs, verses relatively few nerves extending to the narrow tip of the foreskin. If you don't know this, read: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/60885.Woman .

relatively few nerves extending to the narrow tip of the foreskin

That's a pretty strange thing for an uncircumcised man to say.

The responses to my comments in this thread are REALLY strange. Seem you're now telling me I am uncircumised. wtf

What's next? A castrato telling us that having a penis is not really necessary?

[–]asterias 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Thanks for proving the double standard.

Hopefully you've noticed that men and women are biologically different down there. Removing part or all of the clitoral organs - which has happened in a number of African countries - is torture, as there are also thousands of nerves in that area, and this is done to girls who experience excruciating pain, excessive bleeding, sometimes suffer from serious infection, and sometimes have trouble urinating, all at great cost to their families for the procedure, after which they feel much less in that area. It's serious trauma. This is not true of foreskin.
