Have you skydived before? A good way to try it is tandem skydiving.

Tandem is good for beginners. How many times have you skydived?

i thought about it once and i drove out to a skydiving school... there was a big dog running and jumping on people's parachutes as the chutes were laying on the ground and i said oh hell no and i left and never gave it a second thought..

i do have about fifty hours of flight lessons in the cessnas however.

many people dont realize how easy it is to get behind the wheel of a small plane... all you have to do is look for "flight school" on google and call them up and say that you want to take an introductory lesson and you can be up in the air within the hour sometimes.

Tandem is OK for legs and civilians but I wouldn't do it. I prefer a C-130 and a static line. The most fun IT job I ever had was at Lockheed in Marietta. I got to crawl the C-130's as they were building them and the F-22 parts looked like they were made by Rolex.
