Explain to me what the use of a boat like this is? I would think that if you travel the coastline or the seas, it acts as your hotel and allows you to keep your own schedule, but what good does it do at a boat slip only to be taken for a joy ride every so often? How expensive is this to maintain?

i am sure that a boat like this would be very expensive to maintain, if you are a working stiff joe lunchbox.

but if you are a rich person with a bankroll that is in excess of ten billion dollars, then to buy a boat like this costs you 3% of 1% of your bankroll and if it costs you a million per year even to maintain this is no big deal.

if i could just get my shit together on this project, i could become a billionaire class player within less than one year.

most likely this wont happen, and in reality i would be quite happy with something a bit more sized down.

I've been told that once you hit a certain level of wealth, cost doesn't mean much. For most people given a choice between eating at Ruth's Chris and Chinese take-out, they would choose the $100 steak dinner over the $10 Chinese food. If cost is taken out of the equation, then it's a matter of what you want, not what the dollar value is. Chinese take-out may be what your stomach wants, not what your mind is telling you to get because it's more or less expensive.
