I sympathize with your situation, and am so sorry this has happened to you.

To address the broader question implied in your situation, will people wake up eventually to the monstrous level of the fuckup that has been perpetrated on the world by a group of narcissistic psychopaths? Assuming the population does wake up, you may see something (though not nearly enough to compensate the actual loss). If the population never recognizes what has been done to us, you will end up in a camp with the rest of us. At least the company will be better surrounded by sanity as we are allowed to die off, rather than trying to live among the lunatics who will be roaming "free". There's that for it... Maybe there will be places to hide? Can Florida sustain in the face of this lunacy? The future at this point is very uncertain.
