Yup. Creative Commons is to intellectual property what the GPL is to software source code, i.e. copyleft. You might not reap any financial benefits but your contribution helps others and people are free to modify and redistribute the design; much like open-source software. You're still free to charge a fee for your work though. You could, for example, offer a SVG version of your logo for a small fee.

Yep. The SVG (linked above) is already shared but most of my old vector designs in 400x400 PNG are still mine.
