I remember watching some random YouTube video that said something along the lines of how if your're constantly reprocessing shit you're basically retraumatizing yourself and that's not really helpful. I don't think that's true for everyone but it made a lot of sense to me. I think therapy is good but it's mainly for people who are good at verbally processing their feelings (not me).

You reminded me of this, it's a new type of magnetic brain stimulation. The sample size is ridiculously tiny but it might have the benefits of ECT without all the pesky horrible effects.
