Interesting story, she moved to Poland with her husband and kids, hated it, drank too much, blew out her liver, moved back to the US abandoning her kids and husband, and set about trying to find a replacement money source, only to find nobody wanted a dying woman in that way. Abandoned her cat, abandoned me, moved in with her estranged father and now apparently died.

I'm glad she's out of pain. RIP 14.

Never heard of this person, but from your description, she doesn't sound like someone worth remembering at all, let alone devoting an entire post to.

She was a friend for a time. It is appropriate to drink and remember your friends when they pass. Stellar person she was not, but nobody's perfect.

It's also worth pointing out that she took a very long, very painful time to die thanks to no doctor wanting to prescribe opiates these days.

Why did you keep her as a friend despite all her many, many shortcomings? She sounded like a terrible person, from what you've described.

Better to be alone than in the company of bad people. Learned that lesson the hard way, many, many times.

He has a point. 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 still live but only 13 and 15 still talk to me. 15 is special.

Oh wait, I fucked that up. Two of them are dead.... This numbering system needs work.
