Has anyone here ever been to a Pentecostal church? I have not but heard from a friend that his experience was the most scared he ever was and he grew up in the Bronx.

pentecostals, in a nutshell, believe that when they convert/are baptized(or something like that) that they will speak in tongues. If they dont, nope, something went awry.

they are some of the most enthusiastic believers that i have ever met. scared? nah. they are very nice people.

video: speaking in tongues.

From what my friend told me, his experience was not only of people talking in tongues, but also flailing around on the floor and running up and down the aisles shouting and dancing. He did not mention the handling of serpents or drinking of arsenic during his visit.

but also flailing around on the floor and running up and down the aisles shouting and dancing.
