All I see is civil shit talking. The m7 dream lives!

LOL. Okay.

I guess that frees me from trying to effectively snare downward asstrolls to keep SaidIt civil.

Long live the d3rr dream of uncensored chaos ignoring the PoD.

It may mean more work later, as you may still need to pick up the ban hammers and pull it back to civility if this place starts sliding into Voat or worse.

If you want both of you to get a strike, I'm down.

Works for me, though obviously I don't think I deserve one as I was careful to try to play by your rules.

How many does ActuallyNot have left?

And socks?

Do the strikes expire?

I'm sure M7 has given me at least 2 strikes over the last 3 years, though I'd argue that none were valid and his reasons were very unclear.

ya'll have 0 strikes. strikes don't expire.

Ya'll sound like /u/TheAmeliaMay or Hillary Clinton talking to her Southern Black base - or me in grade 4 loving the Dukes Of Hazard.

I'd rather he/she/it/they get a strike, and I'll take one to be fair for the team if necessary as well. Otherwise this shit will continue, perhaps get worse because now this sets a loose precedent, and I've wasted my time (again) arguing with trolls online for no good outcome (akin to punching yourself in the groin - it might seem like a good idea at the time). Makes me wonder why we even have rules, or why I should bother to try to keep this place civil.

But obviously it's not my forum.

In other good news, I'm gathering local allies and there is interest in migrating from Facebook, even if partial and slowly. Rather than have everyone create accounts here and not use them, my goal is to get influencers to post here to lure the lazy and reluctant Facebookers.

We'll be using /s/StandUpWindsor and the wiki until we get Projex.wiki up. I've criticized our lack of organization, but have talked to some others and will be presenting some new ideas for better community organizing there today or tomorrow. This is REALLY exciting.

Also, because we have local "enemies" who are actively trying to stop our Windsor Resistance efforts, so many of us are concerned about privacy issues. Though I'm an open book and prefer transparency, sometimes privacy is necessary. In the sidebar of /s/StandUpWindsor I listed the different ways SaidIt offers privacy options - and I copied that to the SaidIt FAQ (though it's not in the form of a Q/A yet). You may want to look it over.

This situation has pros and cons. We will get some more users, but they may be focused in their private subs, if they make them. I'm hoping they don't limit themselves and contribute to all of SaidIt - and help build our future growth and Cassy branches.

On the FAQ I also created two sections we can fill in soon (Default Subs and Recommended Subs), especially since I want to bring up some more ideas to help SaidIt and our SaidIt community - perhaps even try to organize ourselves into some more active leader-ish roles for anyone interested in participating. This "re-organization" could be like the one I'll be proposing to StandUpWindsor (and that most likely will be shared with the Windsor Front Line Workers (doctors, nurses, ambulance, fire, police, etc) who are now waking up and need to be organized now that the stakes have been raised so high they need to finally wake up and take action as their jobs and lives are threatened). (Today or tomorrow I should share my photos of our big double rally last weekend, and some other rallies since Chris Sky on 8/28.) My inspiration for all this grass roots bottom up "new" organizing structure stuff is simply emulating how the Burning Man org effectively works. I wish I'd thought of it sooner.

Statistically speaking, my base is mostly Southern Blacks (socially conservative, economically progressive).

Not sure why you mentioned me, though.

with your free time you can work on setting a better example

Yesterday I was fixing up the FAQ. What do you actually offer SaidIt?

People here know me so fuck your insignificant biased judgemental bullshit.

Maybe with your free time you can fix your attitude.
