I don't think he's doing it for money. It's weird if you read what he writes on his many and often banned accounts here. It's legitimately interesting sometimes although he gets spammy, insulting and combative.

Scare them away.

I think we already bored him away to this other forum since nobody gets all that worked up over his antics here.

I don't doubt there are people you speak of, and even worse actors out there selling a particular agenda, but this guy is... Odd.

He's a 60-yr old man who acts like he does. That leads me to believe (or hope anyways) that he can't control how he acts, or he wouldn't act in such a cringey fashion. Bipolar with narcissistic personality disorder wouldn't shock me.

And that makes me think nobody probably wants to be around this guy in real life, so he comes onto forums to get attention.

I mean, I've done work for Appen before with video/picture tag categorization for social media. They have other roles for fact checking and AI voice recognition, which is honestly kind of creepy, but I digress. Not exactly the same thing, but US companies will generally shit can you for N-blasting unless it's some sort of nefarious business.

But also, what proof do you have that he's shilling anything at all? He just states opinions.
