this is proof that you do not know how to manage the registrations component of a public website.

Not my site. Admins can do what they like. Stop pretending that you or I have any say in this.

locking the registrations sure aint gonna help.

making registrations more difficult will immediately kill the site.

/u/d3rr just put himself and this website into a full blown CHECKMATE.

he could ask his elders for advice about how to fix it, but i dont think that anybody will actually help him at this stage of the game.

If the users are manipulating the registration system to compromise the site then it logically follows that one should freeze registrations until the issue is resolved.

I know you're arguing in bad faith but you should at least try to put forth a point that can't be easily refuted.
