"Racism" is nothing more than an evolutionary mechanism that worked really well at keeping people alive for thousands of years.

It pisses me off that liberals will beat the drum for evolution only as long as it fucks Christians over. The second they realize what "survival of the fittest" actually means they get all butthurt and start yelling.

Yeah. It was and remains advantageous for us to have a deeply wired sense of 'my tribe' or 'my people'. We are a social and tribal species. While there is flexibility as to who 'my people' are, this only works in small numbers. When migration is large-scale, both the original population and the new tribe retreat into their respective tribes. This is why some towns in the UK are almost entirely non-British. With a shared worldview the tribes can be united, but that's not going to happen when multiculturalism explicitly preserves the differences. Multiculturalism stands in opposition to assimilation or integration. It celebrates the differences, particularly from the perspective of migrant populations.

The multicultural project was doomed to fail. Social scientists have been observing the issue and attempting solutions for well over 50 years, with little to show. We are wired this way.

This is a good way to put it. I'm relatively open to racial integration as long as the goal is (relative) cultural homogeneity. This worked well in the U.S. for European descendants: while white people in the U.S. do still respect subtle differences between (say) Italians and Irish, there is not really much meaningful difference between European-descended Americans beyond a kind of memory or respect for ancestral distinctions. Even Latinos and Asians who assimilate are able to contribute to a larger sense of united tribe/nationality. But this doesn't work when open hostility against "white" culture is promoted and people are incentivized to retain cultural practices that are radically at odds with the majority.

Yep. A common sense of being a citizen of the greatest country in history helped create the sense of belonging. Unfortunately the post modernist bandits have been working hard to demoralise America.

IMO it's even more then that. Loving your race and promoting it is a spiritual exercise. If you simply define race as a survival mechanism then the left and control opposition right can pilpul you out of it. For instance why do you need race in the post industrial age that allow goods and services to flow to freely across borders and ethnic groups? In a materialist egalitarian world racism is only going to keep you from trading with and learning from other tribes. Don't you want to improve your genetic material by looking for a mate all over the world instead of of your small town? Don't you want to learn how to be respectful of all groups so your boss will promote you at your globo homo company and you can make more money for you and your family? (I'm playing devils advocate of course)

Absolutely why the machine must destroy it to thrive on now in the information age
