You can subscribe to the subs you like and mute the ones you can't stand, you know.

But with the big discussion sites either co-opted by shills and bots (all mainstream social media and reddit) or gone (voat, 8chan), what has popped up to replace feels so much slower and smaller. Maybe it was all an illusion propped up by our designated glownigs and chinee bots. Maybe all the conversation went to the really stupid places like Discord and Gab, where furries, communists, and spam of pictures of the sunrise are all welcome.

Or maybe you should stop visiting reddit and mainstream news entirely for a fresh perspective.
