Hasn't hit the critical amount of usage. Most content is in opposition to reddit instead of anything more genuinely interesting. Recreating reddit is not easy.

Stupid comments like 'Mom's big butt' is a major turn off as nobody smart will want to deal with that shittery. So your left with morons yelling into a room full of sickos. Sickos and morons yelling at each other!

You get the same shit at reddit. They just use bigger words and act like they're superior for it.

I noticed they seem to use thesaurus type words and often use double meanings. They often throw in European politics into the American mix and confuse the two like either they are dumb or on purpose to muddy the waters.

It's to muddy the waters for sure. Also they tend to be pretty shitty at arguing in general, but that's what happens when you're shielded from any legitimate debate.

I've noticed lately forums that used to be pretty easy going are now cracking down on the slightest offense. I got almost kicked from some Legend of Zelda forum for saying that some of the members can't seem to read and that's somehow 'baiting' yet I've seen worse get ignored. Is it cause I'm a newbie or is something bigger going on?

A survivalist forum that used to be relaxing has last year announced major crack downs on violations no longer giving warnings and I got temp banned for asking why they suddenly take a stance where it was okay before. I am worried this is just the beginning. Time to start prepping and less consumer buying perhaps? This seems to be a bad time to invest in anything electronic due to censorship.

Maybe a bunch of people had some glow boys show up on their doorstep. Dunno, but you're right. It was all at once and suddenly. Seems somewhat coordinated.

But possible. whithout ghislaine maxwell being able to buy it. also i don't believe in things as reaching a critical mass to grow "exponentially" .

I'm way more comfortable with the natural way saidit is growing.

What do you mean buy it and critical mass? Your sentence is broken up there.

The main idea of 21st century capitalism and all these "new" markets imo is that you got to to reach a critical mass of market share to actually grow "profits" from a "business".

Like microshit did with OSes in the 80ies e.g. but also Valve (Steam), facebash, apple, google and numerous other examples.

Saidit surely has its phases of ups and downs but to me this seems way more natural in growth than all these other "companies".
