The "pandemic" continues to be exploited predictably.

Let's repeat some basic facts that cannot be repeated often enough. Covid-19 is a coronavirus. Coronaviruses have been around as long as our species. Coronaviruses are one of the causes of "colds". There is an old saying: "Next they'll be trying to cure the common cold."

Well, first they had to weaponize it. They had to torture a poor coronavirus into the relatively lethal form they achieved in the lab with Covid. Frankenstein's virus.

But it's still a coronavirus. The reason curing the common cold has always been a pipe dream is that coronaviruses are constantly in flux. You do something to address the original virus and by the time you've figured that out, the virus is ten generations separate from the version you were working with to begin with.

Sound familiar?

The people hyping these variants are ignoring the absolutely predictable course the virus is taking. It's manifesting the same tendencies these viruses have manifest forever. This is what coronaviruses are. They are forever in flux.

Welcome to the medical industrial complex. They pervert a relatively harmless pathogen to yield a dangerous one, then pretend they can control it.

Finally they pretend surprise that coronaviruses are by nature rapidly evolving organisms, so they can enforce their continuing controls on the population. This is a wildly sick enterprise, but the sickness has only secondarily to do with Covid. The primary sickness is the narrow-minded hubris of the technocrats who believe themselves God to play this game. That is the real illness, and we are all suffering for it.

All of which is to say when we hear the word "variants", the healthiest thing to take home is:

Coronaviruses are doing what they've always done; maybe we should leave our immune systems to do what they have always done rather than creating "vaccines" (which no longer fit the original model for this word at all) which are likely long-term going to make things only much worse. Mammals are from birth equipped with innate immune response, an incredibly elegant defense against all viruses. It's not be 100% effective either, but it's orders of magnitude moreso than any human imitation will ever be. In the long run, we are going to wish we had respected and trusted our natural birthright to protect us rather than giving the job to a group of people who are not even remotely as well qualified to achieve the goal of durable viral mitigation.
