First, historical correction: it wasn't "Christians" who murdered non believers, it was Catholics; an abominable offshoot and corruption of the Christian faith. Now, you're right. There are always going to be assholes, jerks, idiots, morons and retards on every social media site on Earth but that's part of what makes it interesting as long as those same assholes et al don't get a power trip going because they get a little power. I haven't been to Voat but, I have to ask.... How do you define "middle-aged white trash" and how do you identify it when you see it? As for the word, nigger, well, it's just a word and, in the words of the amazing and incredible Lieutenant Uhura from Star Trek; "Why would I be offended or upset by a word? In our age we've learned not to fear words."

On another note I think it's ironic that you blame Voat's demise on "Middle Age White Trash" when I've seen posts that blame "traps" and "trannies", "commies" and "nazis" and "alt right" with just as much vehemence and conviction but the simple truth is this: Voat went out of business for lack of money. Simple as that. As for Saidit becoming something, well, we'll just have to wait and see what happens but, considering how much effort Facebook and Twitter are putting into furiously crushing all competition who knows what'll really happen?
