Marine Corps Air Station Tustin 2000
submitted 2 years ago by Brewdabier from self.whatever
So let me start of with I was a security guard at the Marine Corps Air Station Tustin in 2000, all buildings were left as is, I was on second shift so as soon as the sun started going down me and the other guard started exploring.
The helicopter hangars and two fire stations was the first, then all the other buildings like one in the south east part of the base. It had a large vault 15 x 15 with the radioactive sign on the door and that door was about a meter thick, at the time all I had was a sony digital mavica camera that used a flopy disk. I lost most all the photos I took but here's what I could recover.

I hope you enjoyed the pics just wish I had backed up the floppys 20 years ago.

Yeap, where Cemex - Irvine is at was the engineering building and the Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews was where they tested the turbine engines, at armstrong and valincia was HQ, I see a hole in the north hanger. The fire station at perry and Mccord is still there, Thanks for the link.
