I suppose you're not referring to "woke" people, especially on Saidit.

And a solution is not a generalization, which is merely a cop out.

How would one expect to wake people, and what would be the political method for change? Can these people take on the banks? Can politicians do it? My view is that there are democratic solutions that will engage politicians in the current system. That's the quickest, less disruptive option. The only alternative to it is a violent revolution, which is not a viable solution for most. I mention these options occasionally on Saidit. I think no one here really wants to think about it. They just want to whine, and repeat what they think is popular in their circle of online strangers. None of those people will come through for you.

    Again, Yin, this:

Waking people up to truth is at least 90% of the solution.

Is a generalization that can be applied to anything. In oder to wake people up in a meaningful way, you have to be much more specific about what they should know and how they think they can make changes. Generalizations are a waste of time.

It's a generalization that applies to anything, and is thus relatively meaningless. It's not actionable. Consider these ancient Greek distinctions:

Labor - eg, brushing your teeth

Work - eg. a job that pays a salary

Action - a citizen's responsiblity to speak and act for the benefit of the polis (aka: a political action that is so much more than just informing people)
