Lol just got 30 minutes in. After being lied to for god knows how many hours by the crew, then seeing the crew only having access to and walking around in life jackets while the crew is still saying “everything is fine, return 2 ur cabins”, people finally start to panic when the ball drops and the captain says they’re going out to the life boats and there’s “room for everyone”.

Half of the people are just frozen, scared sheep following the crew and captains orders despite them lying to them about everything, and the other half is skeptical about the validity of statements now being made (like there being room for everyone and enough life boats), so they get into physical fights as they (logically) try to push the women and children to the front of the line so they get access to the life boats first.

The people who realize shit is wrong and aren’t trusting of staff are the most calm and logical and are all acting like a hive-mind to get everyone to safety, starting with the babies, children and women. The frozen sheep still trusting in the crew and captains words, are the ones panicking even though they’re trying to spin it as the other group is the one panicking, trying to physically block that groups way instead of working on escaping together in calm, logical, fashion, leading to physical confrontations.

None of this would have been seen if it weren’t for everyone recording and this being cut together in order. The psychology behind the two groups is amazing; the questioning group realizes shit is sus hours ahead while the “sheep” group are just chilling and believing everything the crew and captains says despite seeing them and only them walking around in life vests.

Once it’s evident shit has hit the fan, the group that was sus as soon as they heard the loud sound of the hull being torn into and seeing crew members lie, the captain hide, and life vests being handed out to only the crew, had already hours worth of planning ahead of them for the worst case scenario so when it came down to it being that, they just started logically acting their escape out despite the captain telling them to return to their cabins or finally line up for life boats “as there’s room for everyone”.

The “sheep” group actually seemed to get mad that people weren’t willing to follow orders blindly and possibly die on a lying man and groups word, so instead of working together with the other group, they started blocking them off causing physical confrontations while they were panicked.

It’s like they were mad at the other group because the other group was forcing them to accept the fact that things aren’t as good as the crew is making it seem, and wanted that group to believe the crew just like they did (submit to cognitive dissonance) so they can keep pretending things were just fine.

Edit: I don’t think I’ve ever seen a video where “mama Mia” and “calm down, it’s ok” (even tho it’s not) are said so many times. Def the most I’ve heard mama Mia in a video.

Edit 2:

omg.

There’s footage from a group of people who are obviously mentally compromised and they’re some of the few and first who actually made it out onto a life boat, and as soon as they’re safe the first thing they do is start complaining about all their material goods their losing (like an iPad in a cabin room, when they literally just skirted death lol), then they look out the life boat window and see the boat sinking and exclaim “omg, the boat is sinking! Holy shit it’s sinking look at it!”, I was smh before but after they all start going crazy over the boat sinking, bitch why the fuck do u think ur in a life boat?

I stayed tuned to news about it for a while. I feel like I saw this way back when too. They didn't get into the nonsense of the captain here, which is not really critically important - but what I found really interesting was the mega engineering and how they managed to clean up the ship.
