Is he really a troll, though? He seems way too intent on taking the site down to be a troll. Is there any particular reason why he’s so obsessed with our existence? Does free speech piss him off, or?

I mostly just find it funny because on the SaidItNet subreddit on Reddit he seemed really confident that he’d got this place taken down for good. What a sad individual. Regardless of if he is or isn’t a troll, I hope he finds something more productive to do in his evidently boring life.

He's actively trying to get SaidIt shut down, because he's a Communist; free speech is a danger to his ideology's existence.

Right, but they're only doing it because they can't be on the front page. They don't want to destroy the site, they just wants their picture pinned on the fridge, like children. I think they think they can actually convert people to this insane cult.

Either way, I don't think their intent is to destroy it, but take it over.

Of course, in the "communist future" free speech won't be allowed and the site would be shut down, but that's a long way off and very, very unlikely.

In the end, they need the website more than any of us do.

Meh, he just wants his sub and is utilizing the powerful tactic of annoyance as a method to prove point. Demands for being on /all is a bit of a reach though. I would go so far as to say that anything politically polarized probably shouldn't be on /all, just for the sake that it brings negative attention and ammo from outsiders to brigade or report. If Barfedinn brings his CP taskforce in here, many of us will be throwing up peace signs and taking leave.

Exactly my point, they can only do so much to annoy and seek attention without destroying the site; which is clearly not their current goal.
