Am I the only one who is still not sold on electric vehicles outside of grocery runs? I can't imagine having to add that much time to charge up on a road trip... assuming that you can even find a place on your route.

If they're better and more efficient, wouldn't the free market take care of it naturally? Not that it's possible to explain logic to most washingtonians. They'll just give you a glassy-eyed stare and mindlessly repeat some platitude they got from a professor at evergreen or WSU.

And when the blackouts occur, people will be buying gasoline-powered generators to charge their cars. Full-circle.

    Speaking of impractical: https://texasnewsexpress.com/04192021-1321/tesla-car-crash-kills-2-spring-no-one-was-drivers-seat

The car's self driving mode killed two people after only a few hundred yards. It took 28,000 gallons of water to put out the battery fire. The firefighters contacted Tesla bc they couldn't put the car out.

On the plus side, they got a free cremation.
