I think the argument can be convincingly made that politicians, the media class and other assorted elites (who very obviously live in a separate world from the rest of us and hold us in utter contempt) would be a much more legitimate target to find themselves on the receiving end of some incel's outrage. Note: this is NOT to say that said outrage justifies using violence against random innocent people, because nothing does...I just find it bizarre as fuck how the entire media narrative about this story was seemingly set from the get-go. Like, do we even know for certain what this guys' ideology was other than the fact that he LOOKS like a cringe incel type? It is super super suspect when you go on twitter and see the thousands of people who are using this situation to justify their hatred and open racism against white people and it very conveniently also takes away a story/stories that the media/ruling elites definitely wanted to go away (the growing number of instances of black-on-Asian violent assaults happening all over the country). Now the narrative has shifted away from the fact that black people commit over 280 times as many violent assaults against Asians as vice versa, to the new narrative that "it's the fault of fucking white people who are trying to pin us against each other!" Nauseating to literally see people, including people who themselves are black attempting to stick up for the idea of egalitarianism/against all of this critical race theory bullshit, getting dogpiled on by tons of rage-filled lunatics who just want to scream about 'nazis' and 'incels' and 'white supremacists' and whatever.

Don't get me wrong here, this guy is a massive piece of shit and it's a shame that cops didn't just fire a bunch of bullets into him--especially because this now means we'll all be forced to hear about how "the only reason he is still alive is because he is white just like (insert name of white criminal here)" for the next 2 years--but it all just feels...contrived. For lack of a better descriptor.
