Yeah I enjoy the tech articles! Gives this place a more hackernews like feel, which I enjoy. I think a lot of people here are interested in stuff like linux and programming and tech security

Agreed - and I think posts like his make Saidit a more informative place

(even if I don't agree with the anti-vax drama)

isn't everyone? lol

whatever your opinion, is your agenda.

the only question, that to me matters..

are paid to have your opinion?

well, then there is also which world do you believe in? spirit or pure materialistic?

that then sways your 'opinion' .. and most don't really have one.. the more you think about it.

we don't have a choice other than .. which we choose to believe in ..

once you choose to believe in God and see how things can change via that Faith.

I haven't seen the same hold true for the other view. nobody leaves God that sees.

True true true. Everyone has their opinion.

While I agree it's important to know if someone is paid to have their opinion (I am not paid for my opinions, though that would be helpful), right or wrong or grey, even MORE important is whether it harms people.

It's profoundly clear the establishment, Bill Gates, etc is not only exploitative, they aim to thin the herd of sheeple by a huge amount, regardless of the suffering inflicted - in part by lockdown, vaccines, food crises, inflation, etc etc etc.

/u/socks is not only pro-vaxx he's also pro-authoritarian - 2 of the most harmful stances possible, IMO. Might as well be a pro-war and pro-censorship propagandist to make it a complete set.

I don't need to believe in the fantasy myth of God or ANY authority, jealous of other fantasies, all powerful but not caring or caring and impotent to help. I can still appreciate many good moral and ethical teachings of Christ, Buddha, Lao Tzu, Socrates, Confucius, Diogenes, Mark Twain, Gore Vidal, etc etc etc.

I am my own ultimate authority, for better and worse. That does not make me immoral.

Excellent comment.

He brings so much tech informative, non-political content. He posts so much I would think he was a bot if he didn't chime in with a few comments here and there.

I can't decide if that helps or hurts your cause. At any rate, I vote for more weird German music.

I was reading something he posted and kinda went down a Linux hole, spent half an hour reading about it until I realized I don't care about linux. People been saying the same thing for 20 years.

LOL

Sometimes - because of this kind of interesting reading material - I try to avoid the computer altogether

I got burned out on paying attention to tech developments and software dev a long time ago. I just use my phone now.

20 years ago they said switch to Linux, it's easy and faster. But it's a huge pain in the ass. Good luck when you got no drivers for your hardware or there's no ports for software you need. Today it's still the same damned thing.
