You shouldn't disclose your pepper garden on Saidit. The Deep State took them. How did they survive the storm you had anyway? Hopefully they're of the hot variety and will give massive heartburn to the thief. My sympathies.

I brought the pepper plant inside. Stayed in our bathroom during the freeze. Got my bolivian torch in too a little late, but it seems alive with a little damage. My aloe took a big hit but honestly the die off is good for it, it's so prolific. Every other plant Gizmo has already killed.
But I am hopeful for spring, he's not a kitten any more, so maybe I can have a nice little patio garden again. Some winter ones are already out, garlic and onion. Just supermarket leftovers I sprouted. Oh and some basil. I have tons of basil seeds from years past.
The peppers are very hot to my tastes but I don't go for superhots generally. Hopefully it's enough to give em hemorrhoids.

There's nothing more wholesome than eating the food you've grown. Don't let that incident deter you and keep on growing!
