It's fine to use centralized sites, but it's important to diversify. You never know when your favorite website will be next.

Reddit used to be a fun website to visit.

Yep, remember when it was so small everyone knew that one guy who was "supposed to be doing his homework"? Then that weirdo Bozarking came along with his nonsexual and silly reference to Cameron Diaz in that (I think) first comment to get 4000 upvotes.

Ah...

That comment was a huge Reddit phenomenon, won Comment of the Year 2009, gave birth to several memes and got almost 4k Karma before Mr. bozarking deleted it.

bozarking's comment was located here. You can see from the replies the effect it had in its time.
