The problem with "trolling" is that the word nominally means "person expressing insincere views to upset people" but in practice overwhelmingly means "person expressing sincere views which upset me"

Yes, that's pretty close to the mark. There are a lot of people who get online and express opinions about aspects of the world that they have no experience with, they just parrot something they saw in a vid that jibed with them, perhaps because the tuber had a similar haircut. Yes, I think a lot of life is that shallow. It's the peer pressure thing, like when young people try crystal meth because a friend they look up to tells them it's the 'best' even though everything they have heard tells them it's a toxic drug to take.

A lot of what constitutes trolling is simply that. Inexperienced people online who think they know all about a subject and blurt out dribble. But that's what the block user button is for. It's like an AdBlocker for censoring out ill-informed people.

No, most "trolling" is people with perfectly good reasons for believing what they believe.

But their beliefs upset you, so you tell yourself little stories about why they believe what they believe, because that's easier than grappling with the content of their belief.

You respond with the block button because you choose to be ill-informed.

Well for that to be true you would have to have read and analyzed most of my posts, in the company of professional psychologists, and those of people I thought were idiots, and hence came to a scientifically based conclusion. But you haven't? All you have done is expressed another ill informed opinion, proving my case. The point in this exchange though is that I have triggered you, you obviously believe the current SJW memes that we are all unique snowflakes and should be heard no matter what it is we say.

"black lives matter" But in the states the leading cause of death among black males between the age of 18 and 45 is Murder by other black males. So if black lives matter they don't to blacks do they? Now that is the obvious truth, but a sjw like yourself is perfectly capable of spinning another outcome, like it's the fault of white privilege that blacks murder each other all day. That if only white middle class men will blah blah blah...
