If you work for Jews, and another Jew is in need of a job, guess what happens to you? It happened to me. I’ll never work for them again.

I think every working person has experienced that, not Jews specifically but nepotism/tribalism/networking.

In fact, I think every job I ever had was from knowing someone.

My wife -- who is very skilled in her field -- went through this arduous interview process until at one point they said oh, you know X, why didn't you just say so. Boom, hired.

Network. Network. Network. That is if you want a successful career. There are other paths in life too.

Which isn't to say it's always worked in our favor. I had to deal with a former pimp as a boss at a major pharmacy. No experience whatsoever. That was galling. He had to have known some one.

I suspect it depends on the job. I got jobs via networking and I got jobs based on my talents. I knew no one in NYC yet was hired to animate there based on my demo reel. Same with other places.

What happens? They have a bias towards their group?
