Well, folks. The top post on my feed is full of comments degrading all black people. I always felt voat was "dirty" due to all the bigots and racists. Don't get me wrong; I felt it had its benefits and I absolutely support free speech where it is welcomed and always in public. It appears the influx has begun. I hope this site doesn't degrade as it did over there.

You either support free speech or you don't. If you can't handle opinions that upset you, there's always reddit.

Supporting free speech is not the same as disagreeing with an opinion. I actually agree with the post. It's how the comments devolved into racist ideology that I am complaining about.

Censoring is not answer. Blocking or ignoring may work with specific users. I was worried about a takeover of this site, but it looks like my fear was a little premature.

    It's not that I want to report any of it. I haven't seen any calls to violence here like I saw at voat. I really do enjoy the wide mix of views and opinions here, but there was a certain culture there that I think is harmful to an open exchange of discussion. I really like the culture here and am afraid of it turning sour.
