What a load of empty platitudes—this corporate-speak word soup means absolutely nothing. I don't think they actually believe any of it, but they're trying to capitalize on it by saying the right things. I mean, just look at the first words of all of their bullet points:
Nothing in here about implementation or addressing any specific grievance: just "the racism" and spreading this belief ever-wider. They really have no idea what it is they specifically need to do, or what it is specifically that they have to address. No facts. No figures. Just words.

Funny how these admissions of being incredibly racist are seldom accompanied by resignations of those confessing to being so terrible. Instead the same people admitting to being racist expect us to trust them to lead the way in opposing racism.
It’s almost as it’s all about virtue signalling at a time when race is the trendy cause.

Building on its June pledge to confront systemic racism and police brutality, the AMA has taken action to explicitly recognize racism as a public health threat and detailed a plan to mitigate its effects.

Yes, but from the first quote we can see they don't care about racism against whitey: "The AMA recognizes that racism negatively impacts and exacerbates health inequities among historically marginalized communities"

Wouldn't the rich count as a marginalised community?
They are on a margin, the top one.

1% is by definition a minority.

And they get constant negative press. Millions of people in hate groups against them. High crime and addiction rates, which must be the fault of society.
