Does this relation also work the other way around ? How many people get a heart attack while having sex ?

I think this question is more interesting. Especially with these "boosters" like Viagra, etc around.

If anyone can exercise, without experiencing heart problems, an orgasm is not gonna kill them. That's kind of a movie cliche.

Is it though ? Do we know that ? Are there any sources on this hypothesis ?

I remember this guy in Spain who had an erection for 72h after taking too much Viagra e.g. .

The conclusion he might have died from missing bloodflow to his brain lies near under certain assumptions.

It's not just a movie cliche, the old advice was people with heart problems should possibly refrain from sexual activity because the activity might be too much. I'm sure everyone has heard "ask your doctor if you're healthy enough to have sex" with the viagra type ads.

But the new thinking is that sex is actually more beneficial than potentially harmful for those with heart conditions. Not necessarily the sex drugs themselves, although boner meds were originally heart meds.

I can dig up a source if you want, but I won't be doing any googling you couldn't do. As it is my claim, I guess by tradition I will be your google bitch if you want me to.
