When the countries men have an average height of 160.3cm (5’2”) for men and 148.9cm (4’9”) for women. Why would they need a 7 foot tall robot? Who in their country can reach things up that high? I bet they'll need a second 7 foot tall robot to get items off the top shelf's for customers.

I surveyed an almost fully automated storage with 12m high robots in 2000.
They Japanese are way less innovative than widely assumed.
