How do you have time to go to three meetings a day?

i found myself homeless a few years back and so i took four years and studied alcohol and addiction issues.
i was attending that meeting in los angeles for eleven months and one week, and then i went to san francsico.. when i arrived in san francisco, i walked around with one dime in my pocket for three months.. i was befriended by one of the more well known street meth dealers and i had permission to sleep in various meth camps and did just that for at least two years.
i learned things that you will never learn by sitting in a chair at the university and studying addictions and counseling.
i can promise to you that working the steps of AA does not relieve one of depression.
i contemplate suicide every single day of my life.
do have a nice day.
:)
