There are MORE people who are being kicked out of their homes, losing their jobs, their incomes, their businesses, etc. AND committing suicide than this BULLSHIT corona virus that is LESS deadly than the flu and seems to only affect the extremely elderly and those with co-morbidities who are gonna die anyway.

To properly quarantine you isolate the old, the weak, and the sick.

To properly install tyranny you isolate everyone.

My advice to you: Start with the premise that they are lying about everything, and by deduction via contrary perspectives determine for yourself when then are actually telling the truth, as they do mix the lies with truths to better sell it to the sheeple.
