I think you're right. Maybe anti-racism hasn't made people more racist, but certainly more distrustful of each other.

If I have to worry that someone is going to report me for a "microaggression" or have me fired because of something I "liked" online, then I'm going to try and stay away from people who might do that (regardless of their race) and keep my mouth shut about my true feelings.

OP is definitely right. The left thinks they are going whip the normies into good little NPCs or get more fascists because they make for good strawmen to go burn at the stake. But they are mostly wrong. Yes, some do succumb to TDS, but what really happens is that the moderates wake up and move to the right. Those already on the right don't move to fascism (although we are becoming more hard-assed than before) because all their stupidity just shows that we were correct all along.

In 1990 being called anti-black was like being called a witch in the Salem trials. Being called anti-black in 2020 is like being called a witch when the last Harry Potter book came out. It just doesn't have the same punch. No one cares if you actually are pro-this or anti-whatever. Be a good person & citizen otherwise and it's as ignorable as the fact that you may or may not like Yemenese people. Either way doesn't matter.

Yes, exactly. What's sad is that this poor behavior unfortunately reinforces a lot of stereotypes.... mostly racial ones. It's not to say that they do it BECAUSE they are that skin color, but now they're rendered "immune" to criticism because if you dare speak out against it, you're racist.

When you specifically mention the behavior, normies are much more open to having a conversation and that's when you see what they really think. Trust me, I am infuriated with the leftists in my town. They are all frail white people that can barely hold up the BLM signs.

My biggest fear is that they open some type of doorway to chaos if they keep having these protests... If they get as big as the ones I see on Youtube and what not. If that were to happen and property were to be damaged, my town would fucking lynch them.

Consider that the term "anti-racist" might not mean "opposed to racism", but rather "racist in the opposite direction".
