You sound like a leftist trying to infiltrate this forum and bring it down.

magnora replying only to three replies and ignoring 53 replies shows just how small minded the ban was.

Okay I'll bite. Firstly, there's no side-bar here so ... what's the purpose of this sub? Is it literally for whatever people want? If so there are lots of racist things that get removed: https://saidit.net/s/whatever/about/log

Maybe that's a good thing but I don't remember anything in the FAQ about that. Unless it's a larger attempt to bring down the sub? Idk, it's not my bag. Is there a place on saidit where that's supposed to go? If not, shouldn't there be a few more examples in the FAQ?

Okay I'll bite. Firstly, there's no side-bar here so ... what's the purpose of this sub?

I have been customizing the sub's sidebar with custom CSS, and until I finish that, I cannot actually add information about the sub on the sidebar. The sub is pretty self explanatory, its supposed to be about German Fascism, more commonly known as National Socialism or Hitlerism. Until I finish the CSS shite though, it's going to be largely inactive.

Maybe that's a good thing but I don't remember anything in the FAQ about that. Unless it's a larger attempt to bring down the sub? Idk, it's not my bad. Is there a place on saidit where that's supposed to go? If not, shouldn't there be a few more examples in the FAQ?

What?

To be clear, I was specifically refering to /s/whatever because that's where the post we are replying to is located. Sorry for the confusion. I am very much aware of fascism. I dislike much of it personally, but I am also aware that those who are unapologetic about their support of it are currently the canary in the coal mine for the woke mob.

I'll give you an upvote but, um, it might be a good idea to allow the mod log to be shown, perhaps after a warning page. Otherwise there is a 'memory hole' that could be abused in the future.

Example: https://saidit.net/s/NationalSocialism/about/log

Not a bad idea, if someone could figure out how to code that we'd definitely implement it

Excuse my ignorance, but subs already normally have a /s/sub/about/log right? So after banning, if the /s/sub/ is overwritten, then perhaps just don't touch the previously mentioned log page and it stays up? There's already a hyperlink to the link on each /s/sub page, so it's just code to copy into the banned page to autogenerate it there too.

Yeah that's not a bad idea, it would probably have to do with how the routing.py file works if I had to guess, it probably redirects any subdirectories of banned subs to the banned page. We'd have to add an exemption to this rule for the log to make it work
