Eh, Brave is just another Chrome clone. At least with Firefox you're not supporting the virtual rendering engine monopoly Google has created

    Chromium is opensource so google doesn't make anything off of it afaik.

    There is also [ungoogled-chromium(https://github.com/Eloston/ungoogled-chromium). For Android I use Bromite
