You're only looking at the part of the young generation which is on TikTok; other parts of my generation on other platforms may be different. Nevertheless, I was born in 2001 (and just turned 19 a couple days ago) and see no problem with any of this except for being on the proprietary platform TikTok (and the personality traits in the conclusion paragraph), so maybe there is still a grain of truth to this judgement.
