    It should come as no surprise that anywhere that allows free speech will turn into an alt right space fast. If GC decides to stay, they will be converted too.

    I like how you say this like it's all 100% about logic and reason, and not an obvious brigading attempt like is going on constantly around the internet.

    Forcing reasonable spaces to become extremism hives is how those neutral gray areas are destroyed. I imagine you upvoted yourself a few times with a few other accounts too.

    Because it is logical. The objective truth of the historical and current reality only supports that conclusion. But you are not interested in objectivity or truth, are you? You are interested in CONFIRMING that what you already believe, is the truth. It's a lot less work and a lot less threatening to the ego. This is understood.

    But discomfort does not change facts. Reality does not ask itself if it's hurting your preconceptions or feelings. It just IS.
