America is not a British colony since 1776. That was the whole point!

There is no English culture or influence, that was the big idea. Only American culture here. Your analysis is dumb and you sound brainwashed.

    You might be confusing British with Western culture, in which case you could have something to argue about. Western culture has long legacy that goes back to Ancient Greece (maybe earlier), and it has been influenced by many other civilizations, for example math is heavily influenced by early Indian and Arab discoveries. These cultures and discoveries were also exported back to the rest of the world. Romans invented a standing army, but China discovered gun powder, now everyone has a standing army with guns. Your view is very naive, and your example of a single word that is also what currently people so obsessed about in America, is very telling you have a very narrow view of a small part of history.

      British empire has been dead for a while. You might as well claim this is the true decline of the Roman empire, by what seems to be your definition of empire. The craze around the world is really communists trying to destroy all the countries that want to have free markets, because free markets will destroy communism eventually.
