The problem as I see it is black Americans always viewed themselves in juxtaposition with white Americans. Their culture arose alongside the greatest society and began to coalesce into their own, but this growth atrophied into Camden, NJ or Chicago, IL. So, why did it never mature into a sustainable and fertile culture? Because crime and violence and poverty are not paths to greater enlightenment.

It's not always, it's just on the internet. I've met plenty of black people that follow these 'white' traits, so much to the point that I can't seriously accept them as white traits.
