Absolutely, though you can only refute an argument if the other person has made an argument to begin with. "X group of people suck" is not an argument that can be refuted, just a statement that should be ignored or riddiculed. Also, it gets exhausting in my opinion to have the same argument over and over again, hence the ignoring part.

It's a claim that can be refuted with arguments.

Some groups of people do suck. Terrorists for one.

The discussion is about antisemitism and racism, I don't know where you get the terrorism part from. Yes of course some groups of people suck when we're talking about things other than race. Thank you captain obvious.

Yes, you can refute claims with arguments, but there is really no point. If you want to insult a whole race of people, maybe the burden of proof should be on you. Maybe I'm not going to argue every shitpost I see about jews being evil because I won't spend my time fighting windmills.

Birds of a feather flock together. Racism is natural, normal.

Slavery was normal throughout most of human history. War, murder and rape are natural parts of human behavior. That doesn't mean those things are good. Civilization occurs when we tame our nature, control our worst impulses and embrace reason and evidence.
I'm not saying a certain amount of tribalism is not acceptable. I like people who are similar to me. I like the culture and values that I grew up in. I don't want government funded mass immigration, because I want to preserve these things. But it is one thing to want to preserve that which you hold dear, and another to see others as worthless or lower than you. We cannot lift ourselves up by denigrating others. Ethics must come before tribalism, the virtue of a person's character must be more important than the color of their skin. Otherwise, we give in to our darkest impulses, no better than cavemen.

It's much deeper than skin color. Chinese and Japanese hate each other. Tutsi and Hutu hate each other. Tribes are family, blood.
