Which parts? Bounties on scalps is real. Pejorative terms exist. I can's speak to the a couple of the specifics word choices - for example "A 'redskin' is the scalped head of a Native American" should be "scalp from a head" otherwise it implies they're carrying around bald beheaded heads. I also haven't looked into ties between the term and the scalps.

i was referring to op's claim that a redskin is the scalped head of a native american. i know bounties on scalps existed, and i know pejorative terms exist.
