imagine what it was like when the revolutionary war started...you had nieghbors that were loyaliists right next door to neighbors that were patriots...

I had/have a friend who lived for a time in a state that caucuses, whereas both of us grew up in a states where your vote was ALWAYS private. She said it was incredibly traumatizing being in a room with friends, neighbors, colleagues, bosses, clients and having to make a political decision. But I dunno, maybe that’s a good inoculation?

I’m gonna have to go watch WKUK’s The Civil War on Drugs so I can laugh at all this.
