I have lost one lifelong friend over time because he married a SJW. At first I just ignored her comments about how black people have it worse and certain things were appropriation. She had a different opinion than me and that's fine. But over time she turned him into a spineless coward who cant see how hypocritical they have become. She came from a very sheltered and privileged background and she doesn't really live in the real world. Well up until recently. She chose to come from California to our big city to teach the underprivileged. I dont think she really understood the crime and shit here. She doesn't believe in having guns, so when she asked my friend what she should do if someone broke in and he said what do you mean, nothing, hope they dont kill or rape you, I think it brought her down from the clouds a little. They decided to move from the city to a suburb to get away from the crime. Yet now she supports defunding the police in our big city which she moved out of. He just goes along with whatever she says.

It honestly exhausting being around people like that. People like that are constantly repeating the rhetoric yet don't think critically about what they are saying. And they want to have no actual discussion about it. If you don't agree with them on everything you are a racist.

Yeah, that is what has turned me off from people. I think that some of us go through hard times and it wakes us up. "THIS IS REALITY!". It's harsh, cold, things are not as they seem and you need to deal with it. Maybe that's why I kind of disbanded from my SJW friends.

They live in the clouds, as you said. Some are wealthy youtubers who live in $3,000 a month apartments in nice areas of LA with no crime and support defunding the police. Good, so now poor people get to deal with the crime, murder and chaos - but at least you're not racist because you supported it in your 0% crime area.

Anytime I post on instagram I get unfollowed by some people. It's as though everyone assumes that people all believe what they believe until you post something and it shattered their illusion.

Life isn't fair and everyone has to deal with bullshit in one way or another. If you always let other people fix your problems you never learn any lessons. That's seems to be a lot of people problems. Never taking accountability for choices they have made and living in the victim mentality.

My problem with the SJW movement is they never self reflect. They never asked themselves why they believe certain things or look into the other side of the argument. If you dont argue with the certain woke thing, you are the enemy. And the woke things are getting more radical every year.

I hope we come back to sanity soon.

I was staying at an airbnb around the time of the outbreak of the protests/riots. In bed that night, I could hear the conversation of the couple in the home next door. During the day, I had heard their three young children playing in the yard. This is a neighborhood where their house must be worth at least $1M.

I first came into their conversation with her exclaiming, “This is the revolution! It’s finally here! Through the rest of their conversation, he continually White Knighted her insane jabberings which ended somewhere around her exclaiming in PURE hysterics, “They (conservatives) think we’re nothing but emotional hysterics!!”

I rolled my eyes and tried to sleep.

They’re clearly both. They were brainwashed this way in college likely then happened to get good jobs because they went along to get along in their professions that likely just mimic the same teachings they had in college and are so entitled that they have no sense or gratitude for what they have.
