It doesn't even have to amount to intelligent discussions, we should have a laugh here as well without the jokes being banned.

Shitposting does have it's place as a way to vent, to have a giggle, and yeah, to kill time. Time dies pretty damn hard some days. I'd reckon if there was a dedicated shitposting sub, people who didn't want to participate in it sure don't have to.
