oath. no political control, no censorship. but watch out for mods taking over the system which is what is happening in reddit and how it works. they get in as admins and then boot the others out.

/u/drewiepoodle probably had a lot to do with this.

He's the TIM mod that routinely stripped anything on /r/science that contradicted TWAW. One discussion on that sub had over a couple of hundred responses, with papers and discussion of data, removed because it had issue with the brain sex paradigm they push.

He got particularly salty about the Burke research that showed that had normally developed male brains and didn't have 'ladybrain'. Hit the roof at the 'supports autogynephillia' paper.

Since he's an autogynephillic TIM, this triggered him mightily.

AKA Ianna Drew Urquhart. I'm not doxxing, he has his Reddit account marked clearly on his other social media accounts and had done interviews about it using both names.

TWAW

wtf is TWAW?

Trans Women Are Women

[–]liberate 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

aha. interesting. Men are men, women are women, trans are trans. You cant fake your way into a binary gender that you are biologically not born into. Trans are on lifelong subscriptions to HRT and when they stop, they revert back, and they use surgery to force a mutilation. this is "Identity Crisis" being abused by people who make big money out of a vulnerable element of society. Trans are trans, everything else is a cult of abuse and Identity Politics, but a cult nonetheless and not the truth by any stretch of anyone's imagination. no idea how people can be confused by the issue.

What is TIM?

[–]PurpleAmathea 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Trans-identified male (more commonly known as transwoman, but suitable for use by people who object to the redefinition of the word "woman")

[–]marmorsymphata 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

tbf, if we want to promote gender critical ideology we can't run around using esoteric abbreviations like this that make it inaccessible

[–]zero8 12 insightful - 3 fun12 insightful - 2 fun13 insightful - 3 fun -  (5 children)

one thing i like about saidit is they have public mod logs so its harder for mods to get away with stuff

[–]Themagicalmidget 7 insightful - 4 fun7 insightful - 3 fun8 insightful - 4 fun -  (1 child)

This is one of the best anti corruption features of saidit. We can't ever stop all problems with mods, even in a perfect system, but at least now we can see everyone's paper trail. This site actually has me wanting to poste, rather than just larking, which is weird. I made maybe 20 comments in all my 5 years on reddit.

[–]theoracle 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Far better we have optional moderation.

[–]liberate 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

its fast too. I cant even get on ruqqus its got 503 errors all the time and really slow.

[–]zero8 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

this site also has 503 errors and ddos attacks but they are getting much better at handling it

[–]theoracle 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think ruqqus displaying so much images would tax the servers. They also host images too. Nice features but you need the servers for it, which they dont have.

Transgender people are not a threat and "gender critical" organizations are largely front for Divide and Conquer efforts by right wing organizations such as the Heritage foundations. Read this article about how Amy Dyess escaped this abusive cult. https://freethoughtblogs.com/intransitive/2020/05/17/she-escaped-amy-dyess-talks-about-the-cult-of-terfdom/

Reddit GenderCrit mods would have banned this post. Lets see if your new mods will allow dissenting facts, or if the cult really is that controlling.

[–]GConly 25 insightful - 2 fun25 insightful - 1 fun26 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Jesus Christ..

Transwomen commit sex crimes at the same rates as other men. We have the data up on this sub already. There was a list on GC of all the incidents where allowing self ID ended up enabling sexual assaults on women and girls.

In the UK most of the population doesn't support TWAW, if you ask them. It's a grass roots movement.

Whereas the tra movement is heavily funded by some billionaire TIMs. That's Astroturfing for you.

Btw, that article was repeatedly posted on GC, and mocked mercilessly every time.

[–]sltkr 17 insightful - 1 fun17 insightful - 0 fun18 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

The problem with articles like this is that you can find equally good anecdotes from people who have rejected liberal feminism, some of whom previously identified as trans themselves. See /r/detrans for examples. They often describe their experience akin to being groomed by a cult, too.

Amy was connected to an international network of powerful lesbians.

Obviously exaggerated to scare the reader into thinking the GC movement is more powerful than it really is. Later in the article that secret cabal of powerful lesbians is described as "struggling" and "falling apart". So which it?

She believed that lesbian identity itself was being infringed on and erased by trans women, and that the media didn’t care – more than that, she believed that the media was being controlled by trans people.

Trans people don't control the media, but the liberal feminist view (that trans women are women) absolutely and completely dominates the media, as well as any organization devoted to LGBT rights, or pretty much any other organization for that matter. Dissenting voices are usually found on social media only, and receive severe backlash.

Amy's article denouncing the gender critical movement is published by PinkNews, which regularly publishes articles like this, so it's clear what the dominant ideology is. There is no major publication that would offer radical feminists a platform. So while it isn't true that trans people control the media, the trans narrative absolutely dominates the media.

The TERF movement won’t let lesbians talk about abusive women.

That's by definition not what the gender critical movement is about. That doesn't mean radical feminists don't think domestic abuse is bad; it just means they don't want their movement to be hijacked and its mission changed by people who oppose their views.

If abusive lesbians are such an important topic to Amy, why didn't she write her article about that? Apparently, she thought the gender debate was more important too. Hypocritical.

And though it may be true that the TERF movement won't let lesbians talk about abusive women, it seems equally true that the LGBT movement won't let lesbians talk about abusive transwomen.

Ah, a glorious fiction. I don't think GenderCritical people are quite ready to adopt a Seige approach. Damn funny though, thanks for the morning humor.

Trans people are being used as a wedge issue to divide society. It is a blatantly obvious divide and rule tactic. Who employs these tactics? Those that rule. Those are the people that choose the Joe Bidens, Barack Obamas, and Bushes to be your so called "leaders" aka their sock puppet.

We debunked that post on reddit. In addition, Julie Bindel wrote her rebuttal. Nice that you have an open mind though /s

I completely disagree. self-violence to mutilate the body and then using powerful hormonal drugs to force it to stay that way, that is the cult risk. Big Pharma are researching ways to force gender change and actively praciticing it on kids in Europe and Trans are going to be their biggest customers for life if they can get it right. its disgusting abuse of human rights to drive this as anything other that self-worth issue. nothing good about this drive at all. you are preaching to the wrong person - https://www.thetemplespace.com/2019/trans-genderfluid-culture-faces-an-issue-that-is-being-ignored

The argument was never "we must speak the truth because trans people are a threat" it is simply "we must speak the truth because lying has terrible consequences".

So "trans people are not a threat" is not an argument.

We need optional moderation to solve that. The option to turn off moderation and the option to choose your moderator/s. Please push to get this feature created here. Notabug has something like it called "spaces" if you want to check it out but it is very beta and not well implemented I think.

          [–]liberate 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

          [–]theoracle 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Thank you please petition magnora7 and derr to get it. The most basic implementation is a side menu option to make moderated comments/posts either hidden, collapsed or reveal.
