Horrosho. He was my favorite novelist until he up and died. And Kubrick's version of the novel was spot on. I would say that Anthony Burgess' prophecy was also spot on.

Can you spare some cutter me brother?

Burgess' novel was actually very symmetrical. 3 parts of 7 chapters each (the last chapter absent from the film), with repeating themes and elements. I researched and wrote a project on it in high school or University (likely still have it).

You told me once that more was going on there than most see on the first viewing. Is it in digital form?

The book?

Or the movie?

Is very loaded with esoteric symbolism, deeper layers, meanings, themes, etc. Very rich indeed. Helps that the master Stanley Kubrick directed it. YouTube is sooo full of video essays on Kubrick that it's a film school cliche and so many of them, having little nuances and differences and different angles, have become tiresome despite me being a huge fan.

Now I find there's much on the book too, including a couple audiobooks. Upon first glance I find it terribly sad that they are all short videos of mostly basic book reviews, therefore either aren't very deep or only touch on one aspect. There's certainly enough in the short novelette worthy of a deep documentary intellectually dissecting the rich components. I had hoped there'd be something akin to that project of my youth. Ultimately, aside from the missing last chapter, the movie is an excellent adaptation, so the better/longer critical analysts would really be fools not to embrace it for their video essays and documentaries.
