Your mind is not subtle enough to resist the constant attacks on it woven through their programming.

If there is a movie or show that you want to watch after reading reviews - then pirate them

Genuine questions and conversations are degrading on SaidIt already :( Even in a post where politics, globalism (or "programming" and other conspiracies or operations) and the likes aren't the topic, they become it. All jokes aside, you used to be able to ask a question and if a person had nothing to say, they would ignore a topic and if they did, contribute. Actual conversation and long discussion was the norm too; now you're not allowed to type too much. It's sad.

I actually completely agree with bobbobbybob's statement.

However I don't agree with his negative tone and approach, and I completely agree with you that it's "conflict" from the start.

As far as his response goes, I never stoop there, not that it's even close to the worst I've seen.

Meanwhile this may have been an honest request, ignored with the countless others ignored daily. But we may never know as the user and content were [deleted] and they misposted in /s/whatever instead of /s/movies where they might have actually been answered in time.
