I would say the opposite is more likely to be true, that those who are the most loudmouthed and cocksure and the ideologically possessed ones. And those who are mostly silent maybe are silent because they know they don't know the right answer yet.

By dialogue I meant back and forth conversations, just one-sided loudmouthed talking isn't dialogue any more than being silent. Repeating the same sentences over and over isn't dialogue. It requires a level of engagement.
